Partial redesign of the permanent exhibition

Located in Paris until 2013, the National Sports Museum has since moved to Nice in the heart of the Allianz Riviera Stadium, the city’s new stadium which hosts OGC Nice matches all year round as well as many major events.
Thus, more than 50 years after its creation, the only national museum dedicated to sports in France finally has a setting worthy of its immense collections.
Labeled “Musée de France”, it houses one of the largest sports collections in the world: more than 45,000 objects and 400,000 documents (equipment, clothing, accessories, trophies, mascots, posters, paintings, films, photos, archives, etc.) tell the story of 500 years of sports history.
A partial overhaul of its spaces was awarded to the design and build consortium headed by Explosition.
